We started in 2020 to give beekeepers something better, with Hyde Hives creating handmade cedar hives from scratch instead of turning out mass produced boxes. We use traditional woodworking skills, solid British materials and practical design thinking to make your setup work harder for you and your bees. That means a hive built to your exact requirements, with the strength and finish your colony needs for the long haul.

We build handcrafted beehives for real use, with practical layouts, durable cedar and quality workmanship. We at Hyde Hives also create other products, including wildlife boxes and bespoke timber items, with personalised builds for hobbyists, commercial apiaries, schools and organisations.
